Mrc Soundmaster 210 Manually

Mrc Soundmaster 210 Sound System

Can someone tell me the pros and cons of this system. And can it be used with dcc? If so how would you hook it up. I have a chance to buy one for $80.00. A few eeks ago, was at a Great Train Expo and saw MRC Sound Master 210 units for sale for $50. Has anyone worked with the MRC 1908 sound only decoder? This manual is divided primary sections. These ten digital effects may be reproduced through the Fixed Speakers 'A' or or through the SoundMaster 210's.

Country: USA Posts: 366 Posted - 2004 December 17: 11:19:13 AM I had one when it first came out, can't say I would really recommend it. I don't think there would be a way to use it with DCC, except you maybe could hook it up to a jump throttle connection if you are using Digitrax?? The quality of the sounds were actually pretty good.

This system sends a radio signal thru the track, you have a car with a receiver (and 9V battery) and an antenna wire (and a speaker of course) running behind your loco. The car picks up the signal and changes it to sound(s). It worked OK but eventually I found it kinda frustrating because the signal would sometimes go in and out, and would sometimes produce loud static thru the speaker Turbulence Modeling For Cfd Wilcox 2006 Pdf File here. !!

I didn't try it with the under-the-table speaker but I would assume that would work better. (Actually as I recall, the instructions weren't really clear on how to hook up the under the table speaker if you wanted to go that route, suppose a little trial and error would get it done though.)
