Amid growing calls for the U.S. Congress to delay the nation's transition to digital television, the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) and four public safety organizations urged lawmakers to keep the original Feb. This week, a representative of U.S. Trench Warfare Game Mission 4th. President-elect Barack Obama, the Consumers Union, and the Electronics TakeBack Coalition, a computer recycling advocacy group, all called on Congress to delay the transition. The calls for a delay came after the U.S. National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) said its TV Converter Box Coupon Program, with a US$1.3 billion budget from Congress, was out of money.
