Can't figure out what's going on with my onboard charger. Have a two bank Bass Pro XPS.

Few hours later checked it and only the blue like was lit.

Since I don't have the manual, can any of you guys tell me whats going on when the charger is showing only the blue LED. After your batteries are drained down so low, the on board charger is not designed to pick your batteries back up. Put a regular batt. Charger on for a few hours and then hook your on board back up and you will be fine. I have had this experience before and this was the problem. You probably did not charge your batteries for a while and they drained all the way down. It's a good idea to plug your on board in every couple of weeks or so.All the newer 'smart' chargers are designed to be on as long as you are not using the boat.

I've got 3 of the Guest 2 bank chargers and they are good. I think my batteries are skipping out on me, because every one of my batteries is reading something different while they are plugged up. A buddy just sent his portable minn kota charger back to them this week. It was telling him his batteries were fully charged, but they were only charged to like 12.5v. He took one of the batteries to the parts store, they tested it and the readings said the battery was good but needed charging. I took him my portable chargers and they all charged up to 13.6v. This is my first on board charger that came with my boat so I didn't have the manual for wiring. I must have thought I removed it from the positive side when I took my batteries out.
